Tasting Evening News!

We are happy to announce our next wine tasting evenings. We have two dates coming up, one in May and one in June. Tickets for either tasting are £30. The tasting will usually start at 7.30pm and last for approximately 1.5-2 hours.

Californian Wines

On Thursday 15th May we will be hosting the Ironstone Vineyard in California, and tasting some of their fantastic wines. The wines that will be tasted are Ironstone Chardonnay, Old Vine Zinfandel, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Petite Sirah, Krautz & Kramer Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay. As well as the tasting wines, you will also get a cheese board and exclusive discounts on any of the wines you taste.

Brazilian Wines

On Wednesday 4th June we travel to Brazil to visit the Miolo Vineyard in the south of Brazil. Miolo is Brazil’s biggest wine exporter and has over a century of experience producing the best that Brazil has to offer. We will be trying some of their range, exact wines to be confirmed, but it should include some of their sparkling brut, chardonnay, pinot noir and cabernet sauvignon. Also included will be a cheese board and exclusive discounts on any of the wines you taste.

Food

Cheese & Charcuterie boards from Frank’s Deli are available on Fridays and Saturdays while stocks last. The selection changes weekly, so pop in and check out the cheese menu for that week’s offering. For a sample menu, click here.

As we are unable to offer hot food ourselves, pizza can also be ordered for collection from Da Moreno and eaten in the bar. We have their menu at the bar for you to choose from, though you will have to go and collect the pizza yourself (only 2 minutes walk).
